In August 2018, Conde Nast Brides included our signature facial, The Ritual at Seed To Skin at Liberty, in an article entitled “Tried & Tested: The Best Facials For Brides-To-Be”. In August 2018 Seed to Skin was featured in Country Life, in a Luxury News feature. The article reads as follows: “Borgo Santo Pietro, a boutique hotel deep in the Tuscan countryside 35 minutes south of Siena, was an abandoned 13th-century hamlet before it was transformed by Danish husband and wife Claus and Jeanette Thottrup. It was once a healing retreat for pilgrims on the spice route, so it’s fitting that the couple has developed Seed to Skin, natural skincare made from estate produce. After four years’ scientific research, the Thottrups have developed an advanced molecular delivery system that targets different layers of the skin with vitamins and minerals – and it smells divine too.“

In August 2018, The Devotion has been included in Hello!, in the ‘What to wear’ section of ‘Star Escapes’ page. The article also featured a review of Borgo Santo Pietro, our 5 star hotel in the Tuscan countryside.

In September 2018 journalist Lottie Winter has included The Bath Nectar in a gallery of new beauty products featured on Glamour magazine. The article reads, “This beautiful new beauty brand offers natural skincare solutions and heavenly-scented body products, case in point this bath oil, which is based on the premise of ‘1000 Tuscan flowers’. We can testify it smells exactly like that – a bouquet of jasmine, neroli and damask to melt away the stress of the day.”

In August 2018, London on the Inside featured our signature treatment The Ritual in a Salon Spy review, which reads as follows: Luxury skincare brand Seed to Skin, which consists of a product range made from all-natural ingredients developed on-site at their Tuscan estate Borgo Santo Pietro, has launched two new treatments, available exclusively at Liberty. There’s the Vitamin Infusion Facial, which uses a machine to deliver vitamin serums deep into the skin, and there’s The Ritual, a hands-on facial that combines products from across the Seed to Skin range with massage, lymphatic drainage and reflexology.

In July 2018, The Telegraph included The Balance, Seed to Skin’s restorative shower oil, in an overview of “The best beauty products to buy now”. The article describe The Balance as “sublime” and “smelling like heaven”.

In July 2018, The Midnight Miracle Cell Recovery Night Oil was included in the Stella Editor’s Picks page. The copy, which sits alongside the image of the product, reads: “This is a feel-good beauty brand that really works. Made in Tuscany, its natural Night Oil leaves my skin feeling nourished without any nasties.”

In July 2018, Harper’s Bazaar UK listed our super active serum spray The Alche’mist in their list of the best new beauty launches and said “Finding a natural skincare brand with the clinical studies to back-up their anti-ageing claims is often hard, so run don’t walk to Liberty London to try Seed to Skin’s lightweight, botanical range.”

In June 2018, Tatler featured The Peace, our probiotic pink clay soothing mask, in a gallery of “The 10 best face masks for radiant skin”. The article read “Made with natural ingredients from the gardens of Tuscan estate Borgo Santo Pietro, this calming clay mask reduces redness and sensitivity. Good for days when skin feels tight, sore or compromised”.
